He was so revered here in his college days, the Cardinals had to sign him just to keep Phoenix from mass riots. He and Pat Tillman had a fan base unlike anything any pro player here has ever had. And most Arizonans were glad to see him go to such a solid team because the Cardinals have always had their head up their rear. I guess he is kind of cute, in that sweet "aw shucks" farmboy kind of way.
