representative of other organizations. I sit on the board of the local chapter. The buracracy kills me. That said, they have an enormous responsibility to the people they are trying to help and the people who donate money. So one of the things that they have been very clear about is that we need to carefully screen all volunteers, because the last thing you want is to have people delpoy who become part of the problem. What we have been doing is taking people in immediately to help in our local efforts and keeping them busy/happy while we work through the longer process of getting them ready to deploy.
