SERE school seeks to simulate the psychological stress a pow is placed under--it i survival training--they seek to dismissed high school fantasy that you can win against all odds--you will be beaten, you will be raped..will you surive. The training is realistic but not abusive--you can't train to get kicked in the nuts--you can't train to get raped--you can train to expect it, work through it an survive
