Well...

1) What would it be like to be a SEAL? Demanding; stressful, both physically and emotionally; continual process; always have to "on" be at your peak; something to proud of; special, to know that you are one of the few who do what you do, and what your service means to the country whether you can share it with people outside the teams or not.

2) What would be like to be married to a SEAL? I think it would me much the same as being a SEAL, obviously not in respect to the physical requirements or the danger involved. But, being alone much of the time, would be very demanding emotionally; stressful; an ongoing process. I think to a degree that's true for all military spouse's, but being the spouse of a SEAL, I think would increase the pressure, since most of the time, you wouldn't know where your spouse is and you would know if they are on a mission, it's bound to be very dangerous, and you would live with the constant niggling in the back of your mind not knowing when or if they were coming home. It would take a very strong woman; who can be very independent but also very loving. A woman who is able to cram lots of love; living and memories into a short periods of time between missions. Your Ally is one of those women, and I admire her as much as I admire you.

PS...I haven't participated much in the ongoing Q & A's with you, but I have enjoyed reading them, and really appreciate your williness to share with this diverse group of ladies! Thanks so much, Tom!
