You are lucky to have found a woman who can pick up the slack. I hope you appreciate your wife and her abilities and let her know it. My Navy son has decided he won't get married until much later. He's seen so many divorces and relationship problems with immature husbands and wives since he's been in the service (6 years) that it has pretty much scared him off. When he went to EOD school (everyone's divorced) they sat guys and gals down and told them what it was going to be like. The man who was top in the class had a great wife who handled anything that came up so he could do his job and then there was those immature ones who needed their hands held and those relationships didn't make it. It's one thing to be told that it's classes all day and studying at night on base with very little time for personal stuff and actually living it. You and Ally are to be commended for making it through all your years of service, I'm sure it was not easy.
