oh heck, sure you are. Everyone brings their unique perspective and experience to the job--for instance, i was the only SEAL Officer who had also been an EOD Officer--so I had a diffeerent view of things like chemical weapons and mine fields--but there was never any doubt that NSW was chock full of perfectly qualified guys to get the job done. And you are spot on that the learning curve flattens at about the five year mark and again after combat---I did a teamwork consulting job with the (og all things) OBGYN Docs at Brigham and Women's Hospital. One of the questions I asked was what is the actual knowledge difference between a nurse with 10 years experience and a Doctor with 10 years experience--their answer was, expectedly, none.
