Please re-read my post. I did not say I wanted the gov to take care of me OR my family. I was illustrating how choices are not easy to make and that the people of NO/Gulf region shouldn't keep getting slammed for not making the RIGHT in some folks opinion.
and Yep like of lot of DC-METRO area folks I don't have a emergency boxs, but I will by this w/e. I , like many other Americans have learned a lesson.
As far as my exception to "Tom's hypthesis" let's not compare apples and oranges. If you agree with him give me some reasons and educate me, cause IMHO it's as leaky as a NO levee.
