okay what's left? they always say go for other "soft tissue" parts, i don't think them would work, at least not for me, in that kind of scenario. if he's got me pinned, as you describe tom, i'm not thinking i'll be able to drive my knee into those particular body parts.
so, from that angle/position of extreme disadvantage, hmmm....
don't know if this really works, but [assuming he doesn't have my arms braced] i hear the "box the ears" thing can work at concussing the eardrum of i can cup my hands properly, which supposedly is just a little bit and fairly easy to do; and it doesn't require a whole lot of "force" on -my- part.
that always seemed to me to be something i could do a lot better than the vaunted "shove the heel of your hand up against his nostrils..." - i'm just not sure i'd be able to work up enough force to actually "...drive the bones of his nose up into his brain" [tho i do know how brittle those particular layered sheets of bone are, says a woman who's never had her nose worked on...{whistling away}] but maybe the pain of my having *tried* to shove his nose from that angle would be enough to get him off target for a second.
