... I've smacked him. Not hard and only in a friendly manner (don't believe in really hitting). He's like my kid brother. But evebody looks at us when I do it like OH MY GOD SHE JUST HIT THE SEAL!!!! And then wait to see if he's going to go postal. Which of course he never does. But the first time I slapped him on the butt and told him to 'behave yourself' did get quite a suprised look on his face.
