This movie based on a Hemingway story is set in the Caribbean in 1939. Benjamin Bratt plays a seemingly happy go lucky beachcomber, living an idyllic life with his boat, Caca de Toro, and a colorful parrot.

He is already half fish, free diving for his meals. He's often half naked. And when a ship carrying millions in gold and jewels sinks in a storm, he becomes half nuts as well. He tries everything he can to salvage first the jewelry and then the gold bullion.

ATS-20: Setting a fuse - Trying new SEAL skills, Arno sets a fuse to blow the safe, which is reputed to hold over a million dollars worth of gold bullion. Unfortunately a shark attacks him before he is able to blow the safe -- and darned shark destroys the dive suit.

ATS-26: Diving barrel - With the dive suit destroyed, Arno tries a diving bell fashioned from an old barrel. He is joined by Jean-Pierre's wife, who wants Arno to run away with her. This time he is able to blow the safe.

ATS-35: Joke is on us - More stuff happens -- don't want to give away the whole movie. Suffice it to say that the Sergeant Major (a caricature of the Master Chief, complete with moustache) is disappointed when he tries to apprehend Arno and Jean-Pierre.
